How much does hypnotherapy cost? Bear with me as I answer this question.
You see my job is to change how you think, feel and act. Even about what you see as the ‘price’, or ‘cost’ of hypnotherapy.
I want you to see hypnotherapy as a benefit or an investment in yourself.
So please have a think about what the cost is of keeping going as you are.
What do i mean by this?
Consider these six examples when thinking about how much does hypnotherapy cost?
(1). When you’re stressed.
Stress can play havoc with your body emotionally, physically and how you behave.
Physically stress can give you aches and pains, headaches, dizziness, shaking, high blood pressure, and muscle tension. It can also lead to chest pains, or a feeling of a racing heart.
These are just for starters. You can also develop digestive problems like delayed stomach emptying, which can lead to indigestion, heartburn, nausea, and stomachaches. It can also lead to problems in the large intestine - diarrhea or bowel urgency.
You also weaken your immune system, making it more likely to catch colds or the flu. It can also make autoimmune conditions worse.
And now, something far worse. Chronic stress can give you heart disease: coronary artery disease, which can cause heart attack, heart failure, and abnormal heart rhythms.
What price do you put on your health?
(2). When you’re a smoker.
The average cost to a smoker who smokes 20 cigarettes a day spends around £4,841.20 per year, or £98,824 over 20 years. You literally burn through the money.
To be more specific to you, you can use this calculator.
In terms of health smoking damages the air sacs in your lungs, increases your risk of heart disease, cancers, increases your chances of rheumatoid arthritis and Crohn's disease, you limit your blood flow (leading to pain and open sores) and smoking lowers your body's ability to heal from cuts, which is why many doctors won't operate on patients who smoke.
That is all quite a cost to you and your body.
(3). When you take cocaine.
Most immediately with cocaine you raise you body temperature, ramp up your heart and your blood pressure.
Then over time as you build your tolerance to the drug you need more and more.
And there goes the soft tissue and cartilage in your nose, your heart risks clotting and the likelihood of a deep vein thrombosis goes up. And there’s your quality of life as well:
The family is wrecked. Trust goes out the window
Academic failure
Financial problems
Withdrawal from social situations
You perform badly at work
Job loss and unemployment
Arrest and imprisonment
Suicidal thoughts appear.
Not the greatest investment plan.
(4). When you can’t sleep.
Most adults need eight hours sleep a night. If you’re getting any less you run an increased risk of:
Physical health damage like heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, stroke, and kidney disease. It can also lead to obesity, impaired glucose tolerance, and an increased risk of certain cancers.
Mental health problems like anxiety, depression, paranoia, and suicidal thoughts. It can also lead to mood swings and forgetfulness.
Problems thinking straight. Sleep loss makes it harder to concentrate, pay attention, reason, and solve problems. It can also make it harder to learn and remember new information.
Increased risk of injury. Sleep loss raises the risk of accidents when you drive or work.
Lower fertility can mean lower testosterone levels and the hormones that trigger ovulation, making it harder to conceive.
Damaged immunity. Sleep loss can make it harder to fight off infections.
Now, what am I saving you?
(5). When you can’t handle the pressure at work.
Work related stress can run through you life. It’s hard to leave the problem. The workplace. Invariably you take it home with you. You’re snappy, or withdrawn, you overeat, or under eat. You let yourself go. You feel resentment.
Work pressure also puts pressure on your body as your sleep is out of kilter, your blood pressure goes up and you can start to hate yourself.
What sort of deal is this you have with yourself?
(6). When you eat to much/are over weight.
This is an increasing problem. Food is available more and more easily. You don’t have to do anything, it’s delivered to your home - and increasingly in processed form. We eat for comfort, to celebrate, out of habit and then suffer the consequences:
bad health to the point of. Shorter life
poor fitness
lower and lower self-esteem.
That is some cost.
Hypnotherapy as an investment in you.
So when anyone asks, “How much does hypnotherapy cost?” That is my appeal to your intelligence.
What is hypnosis?
It’s a state of relaxation where you can focus your attention on new suggestions or directions.
What are three things hypnosis cannot do?
For a sense of balance let’s be clear what I can’t do:
Control your mind. Hypnosis is a voluntary state of consciousness, and you can't be forced into it. A trained therapist can't make you do something you don't want to do.
Give you special abilities. Hypnosis can help you access your natural strengths and abilities, but it can't give you superhuman abilities.
Guarantee a fix. Hypnosis isn't a guaranteed solution to all problems. You need to want to change for hypnosis to be effective.
What is hypnotherapy exactly?
Hypnotherapy is using hypnosis to help you change for the better.
So, as I’ve highlighted in this article you can:
(1). Lower your stress
(2). Stop smoking
(3). Stop taking cocaine
(4). Get a better night’s sleep
(5). Be more productive at work
(6). Lose weight
